My story started at age 14, when I fell into the trap of societal pressures and began believing I was “fat” because I wasn’t a size 6 like many of the other girls around me. I started trying various restrictive diets and using exercise as a form of punishment. During this time, I developed severe body dysmorphia, which kept me stuck in unhealthy patterns for many years.
For the next seven years, I struggled with body image and yo-yo dieting. At my lowest point, I developed binge eating disorder and had very little self-love. Eventually, I realised something needed to change. I knew I had to shift my outlook on food and exercise and start learning how to care for my body rather than constantly trying to change it through another diet.
This is when I found my love for the gym. Training became a way for me to get out of my head and reconnect with my body. I started to feel mentally stronger as well as physically stronger, and this experience led me to study nutrition at university. Through my studies, my perspective shifted from viewing food simply as “calories” to understanding it as fuel that supports health, performance, and wellbeing.
Since 2022, I have focused on building strength, developing my physique, and improving my mental resilience. I can now say that I genuinely appreciate my body and the community of strong women around me.
Today, I coach other women who feel stuck and unsure of what they are doing wrong. I help them build sustainable habits and healthier relationships with themselves, food, and exercise. My goal is to create a community where women feel confident, strong, and empowered to fuel and move their bodies in ways that support their goals.
Through personalised coaching, my clients not only see physical results such as fat loss, muscle development, and improved fitness, but also build sustainable habits that support long-term health. Many clients improve their relationship with food and exercise, moving away from cycles of dieting and frustration towards a more balanced and confident approach to their health.
